Opens a branch office in Rajkot to explore the Industry opportunity

Rajkot, 1st October, 2008:Havells India Ltd, a US $1.2 billion enterprise and one of India’s fastest growing electrical and power distribution equipment companies, today inaugurated its new branch office in Rajkot to tap the vast opportunities.

The city has also been witnessing huge infrastructural and industrial development. The growing demand of electrical equipments in the wake of construction activities, including housing and commercial space in the city, makes this expansion initiative a must for the growth of the company.

Last year, company’s turnover for the city was Rs. 30 crores and is planning to grow it by 150 % by the end of this financial year. The current employee strength is 10, and plans to increase the number by 100% in the coming months. Havells is currently partnered with 125 dealers in this city and have plans to grow the distribution network.
