Noida, 31stAugust, 2008: - Havells India Ltd, a US $1.2 billion enterprise and one of India’s fastest growing electrical and power distribution equipment companies, today inaugurated its new corporate office “QRG Towers” at Greater Noida - Expressway. The office was inaugurated by "His Holiness Yogrishi Swami Ramdev Maharaj". Company also announced the setting – up of its Global research hub in India “QRG Center For Research & Innovation”

Havells is setting Sylvania’s R&D research hub in India. This would be called as “QRG Center for Research & Innovation” and would focus upon newer R&D initiatives of all the three Sylvania, Havells and Crabtree. The center would have a R&D team of more than 400 engineers.

Havells new corporate Headquarter is spread across 2 lac sqft area. It’s a green building, fully equipped with all the modern facilities. It’s a five floor tower, having a seating capacity of 700 employees and is also equipped with water harvesting plant.

Its 18 state-of-the-art manufacturing plants spread over India (Faridabad, Alwar, Haridwar, Gurgaon, Bhiwadi, Baddi, Badli, Sahibabad, Noida, Neemrana), Europe, Latin America & Africa churn out globally acclaimed products.
